What is the expected value for iscsi.kernel?
trafficstars
I know this feature is quite outdated, not recommended for a production cluster, and "nodeset vm1 iscsiboot" is no more available in the man page of command nodeset.
In https://sourceforge.net/p/xcat/wiki/ISCSI_RHEL5.3_using_xCAT_software_initiator it is said that "Notice that the first two arguments: The node and the server are all you need. xCAT will populate the other fields automatically."
But when I was trying "nodeset vm1 iscsiboot", I have to specify a "kernel" for the node, or the nodeset will fail.
nodech vm1 iscsi.server=192.168.50.1 iscsi.kernel="NA"
