Probably related—bubble particles from bubble columns in water don't show up inside of the water, only outside of the water.

But you can see them if you're inside the water (with no water overlay 🤔)

Interesting. I didn't know that! Would be nice to be supported in Vulkan though since technically it's a vanilla feature. But that's probably better suited for its own issue.
