The Repo is configured for xDai but it says "homestead"

Homestead... that is some OG shit :-D But i don't think most people know what it is... so it should be switched for Ethereum mainnet... when it is talking about mainnet...

ANd for this repo its actually talking about xDai anyway ;-)

So there must be a missing connection somewhere

I'm assuming this has to do with the cache/performance issues. Homestead is the default, to which it seems to fallback on if it can't load everything properly.

Homestead (as a name) is still used as network name in ethers.js, hence the name :)
