Can you add the ESP-12F ? Yes the 32-C3 bla bla.... Overkill. Period.

But as mentioned in the discord :

  • Cost
  • DeepSleep Consumtion
  • Board size
  • Dont need usb header, so dont need TTL device, dont need the 5v reg, ...
  • RTC memory managment is different
  • ADC behavior
  • Lower flash as ESP32
  • Lower ram as..
  • Lower GPIO ..
  • Lower ADC ..
  • Single Core
  • No BT
