ContentEditable="plaintext-only"
Description
Firefox currently does not support the "plaintext-only" state for the contenteditable attribute.
Specification
https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/interaction.html#contenteditable https://w3c.github.io/contentEditable/#plaintext_only_state
Additional Signals
Mozilla standards position: https://github.com/mozilla/standards-positions/issues/839

Firefox just enabled default support for this in the Nightly channel and are actively working on polishing their implementation, so it seems like Firefox might ship it in the decently near future anyways. So maybe making this an Interop focus area doesn't make sense any more, but I'll leave the issue open just in case.
I see more tests here that have failures in every browser engine: https://wpt.fyi/results/editing/plaintext-only?label=experimental&label=master&aligned
Thank you for proposing ContentEditable="plaintext-only" for inclusion in Interop 2025.
We wanted to let you know that this proposal was not selected to be part of Interop this year.
On behalf of the entire Interop team, thank you for submitting this proposal for consideration. We got many more proposals than we could include in this year's project, necessitating some difficult choices. Please note this should not be taken as a comment on the technology as a whole, or our willingness to consider it for Interop in the future. We appreciate the work you put into your proposal, and would welcome your participation in future rounds of Interop.
For an overview of our process, see proposal selection. Thank you again for contributing to Interop 2025.
