Roadmap

Is there a roadmap for this project? How well supported is it by Weaveworks? Should it be considered a future foundational project at Weaveworks, or is it just an experimental implementation of a Firecracker microVM manager?

Thanks all for the interest in ignite. We just cut a very big release: https://github.com/weaveworks/ignite/releases/tag/v0.7.0

Ignite is very user-driven, so we'll all get what we put into it.

Some @weaveworks projects have ignite as a dependency, so we are certainly interested in maintaining and improving it.

A member of the @StorageOS team, @darkowlzz, has joined as an external maintainer, so it's a priority to keep governance and roadmap fair and open.
