On our discord we have discussed the possibility of documenting our research on removing or dependency on root. I started work on exactly that, i document our seat research but i have no idea about the other solutions proposed. Would be neat if somebody else could finish this.

I will be trying to make a PoC in the coming days, hopefully then publishing our findings won't be necessary. However I'll keep this open till we get concrete results.
