Feature request: Tiled layout

Hi,

I have long been a big fan of other web-app organisers like Rambox and Franz. The way that wavebox combines both app-specific persistent icons, and unrestricted web pages is a genius concept. It means that I do nearly all my work inside wavebox. I use a cloud IDE for development, various web pages and stack overflow for documentation and troubleshooting, another tab for the site that I am developing on, etc etc.

This situation is excellent, but it does suffer from the fact that the UI layout is designed around having only a single app open at once. I use a 4K screen, and would love to be able to create persistent layouts that show a set of windows that I use for a task side by side.

I have considered using multiple windows to do the same thing whilst using OS or third party window layout tools, but secondary wavebox windows seem to be just chromium windows, without any of the utility that wavebox itself provides.

Hi @jokester01au we've been working on profiles for Wavebox, that will let you have multiple instances of Wavebox running side by side (https://kb.wavebox.io/wavebox-profiles/).

It's invite-only at the moment, but send support a message and we'll get you setup

I've sent a support message myself, as having separate profiles is something that I would find useful too.

But having a split window view would also be great!

The profiles feature is not really multiple instances of the app, it just uses chromium profiles. True multiple instances would be really useful to have different icons on the dock. For example I use Wavebox for email and another app for IM, I would prefer to use Wavebox for both, but I want to get to email and IM with one click on the dock independently, using profiles increases the amount of clicks and time I spend.
