Volume store folder name validation in the creation wizard is more permissive than the API

You can enter a volume store folder name containing invalid characters and proceed through the wizard, but get an error from the backend when submitting.

@zjs can you provide or point us to the details of what is and isn't allowed for input on api side?

Can this validation happen sooner, ie, on the Storage Capacity page. Either when loosing focus on the folder name input or when leaving the step in the wizard?
