It would be interesting to have support for ldap, AD, freeipa and other authentication, using including modules of the sssd, thus having greater flexibility and greater control of users and access permissions.

+1 for SSSD integration. This would at least allow SSH clients to be authenticated through LDAP.

I see that sssd is in the repos, has anyone got it to work with Photon 5.0?
