Doesn't work with latest Thunderbird
Just installed Thunderbird 45.7.1 and Muttator doesn't run.
That's really a shame, the only reason I've installed Thunderbird is for this plugin.
Is this still maintained?
Ok, I've just built the xpi from source.
I can start it now, and it seems to work, however there are still some errors shown here and there.
I also can't open the preferences in the addons page.
@chino23 I built the xpi from source but after a restart I don't see any Muttator functionality added to Thunderbird 45.7.1. Did you do anything special to get it installed? Thanks.
Downloading from Thunderbird did not work. Built the XPI from sources too to have it up and running.
@ngriffin7a Nothing magical to do. Working just fine with Thunderbird 45.8.0.
@AdrienGiboire Are you able to switch from MESSAGE mode to EX mode in the main list of emails? The only mode changing that I seem to be able to do is to go from INSERT mode to COMPOSE mode when editing a message. For more info, see https://gist.github.com/kartoch/5955822
Yes, I have no problem. Though in the link you provided, it says i switch the message mode which is not the case. It's actually m.
@AdrienGiboire Thanks so much for the note about the correction. The cheat sheet link I provided indicates that it is for "Muttator v0.6" so it is out-of-date. Muttator is working for me now. Thanks again. :)
My Thunderbird was just updated to 52.0. Muttator 1.4, latest git source, built with "make xpi", is not working correctly; see #752 for details.
