Upgrade to 3.9

The guide is available online and new users may be confused because some deprecated methods are used.
@jponge what's the process for upgrading? Do you have any idea how long it takes?
First there's the code to upgrade, then the text.
In the long run I am not sure we should keep developing this guide, since some modules in use are deprecated, and there's a book now.
We could maybe fork the wiki example and extract relevant how-tos instead (e.g., authentication, SPA, etc).
let's discuss that on vertx-dev then

so we should proceed to 3.9 upgrade of versions and label this guide with "guide for Vert.x 3" now
