Enable user to specify an empty extension

Hi, thanks a lot for this plugin. A nice addition would be to enable user to specify an empty extension ext: "" so that the file extension renames the same. Currently an empty string is considered falsy and the plugin fallbacks to the default extension. It could differentiate between "" and undefined in order to enable this. I'll be happy to make a PR if this seems like a good modification.
