Sure, I'll think about the best place for it.
If you need an answer ASAP, go into the site created by kobweb create app (or any of the other ones) and find a favicon icon file in the jsMain/resources/public folder. Then change it to whatever you'd like, and it should work as long as it's a valid icon file.
I did that already but it's still not working for me it still displays the kobweb icon

Actually, the original bug wasn't about solving the issue for themselves but about how it was missing from the docs.
Unlike when this bug was openend, we now have a fully functional docs site, so I just now added a quick addition for favicons: https://kobweb.varabyte.com/docs/concepts/foundation/project-structure#favicon
