Rascal-core is generating prints in the monitor

Describe the bug Often when I'm typechecking a module, the diag prints this:

(not always 29 but just some number, that sometimes increases)

To Reproduce

Run mvn compile on a project with a new rascal-maven-plugin.

Expected behavior No prints by the monitor. just a progress bar.
