Display of Names of Overlapping Areas

On the marriage register map (Trauregister), I mark areas for which marriages have been published for a specific time. The name of the area is the identifier of the book in which the marriages can be found.

As the areas for different time periods also cover different areas, the marked areas overlap.

When the user clicks on a point in the OSM map with several marked areas, only the name of one area is displayed.

In order to display all the information about the clicked point in the map, the names of all the areas to which this point belongs would have to be displayed.

The problem will get bigger in the future. Currently, "only" Protestant church registers are recorded. When the Catholic church registers are added, there will be large-scale overlaps. If the registry office data is added, three overlapping areas are certain.

For an example, see the Göttingen and surrounding area marriage register map (Trauregister). SN I 1 lies under several areas: SN V 1, SN V 2, SN V 3, SN V 4

Another example already exists for Celle

The atanbrowser filter algorithm can be used to filter the areas for a point on the map and generate the display of the names from this.
