Long delay before pins show up - Progress/Loading Indicator

I sent a map link to some people: http://u.osmfr.org/m/25364/ And they all thought the map was broken, because the map was "blank".

Turns out for this map it takes 15-30 second for the first pin to show up.

How about a "loading" progress indicator?
