Stuck on "Loading user information"

Hello,

I am struggling with making the bot to work. It does not respond to any commands in chat, and is stuck (without any error) on "Loading user information" + spinning wheel whenever I try to go to any of these:

  • Authorization
  • Chat/Aliases
  • Chat/Commands
  • Chat/Promotions
  • Chat/Themes

I have Nightbot, Spotify, Twitch Streamer and YouTube connected. I did not do any extra settings other than the default ones. The version I'm using is 1.2.0. The bot has permission to the Windows Firewall and my other antiviruses are turned off.

Any idea what could by causing this issue? Thanks!

Adding some additional information as I installed 1.3.0 today and ran into the issue and saw this GitHub issue. Decided to dig a bit further.

  • Windows 10.0.19045
  • Browsers Tested
    • Firefox
    • Chrome
    • Edge
    • Edge in IE Mode
  • Versions of OxidizeBot Tested
    • 1.3.0
    • 1.2.0
    • 1.1.0
    • 1.0.5
  • Connection Configurations
    • Twitch and Nightbot
    • Twitch, Spotify, and Nightbot
    • Twitch
    • Nightbot
    • None
  • No errors found in log apart from "Initialize Player" failed, trying again Xs
    • this was solved by adding Spotify connection info, error disappeared

Thank you, so there seems like there could be some issue related to when a component (like the player) fails to initialize. That might be worth investigating!
