FileUploader opens file dialog twice

This also happens on the official Base Web homepage. (https://baseweb.design/components/file-uploader/) This did not happen on Base Web v11.x.

Current Behavior

When I click the "Browse files" button and select a file to upload, the file dialog opens again and requires me to select the file again.

Expected Behavior

After selecting a file, the file should be selected and the file dialog should not open.
