Calendar select range create

In the calendar, GUI permit selecting a range and automatically creating an event with the start and end dates filled in.

Now if you click on any cell in the calendar you get a popup asking what you want to create. Once you select the event/record will have the start date set to the cell you clicked on. The purpose of this issue is to permit selecting a range (drag and select) in the calendar and get the same popup, once you select the new event/record will have both the start and end date set to the start and end of the selected range.
