Pasting text fragments into an existing node overwrites node content

with a snippet of text in your clipboard (no newlines), put your cursor somewhere within an existing node. paste the text with command/control+V. instead of the text being inserted amongst the existing text, it replaces it.

(in the gif ignore the part where i open the menu, i don't actually select paste from there)
