Cannot use macro with repeat.vim

Open kronos29296 opened this issue 8 years ago • 1 comments

I recorded a macro with surround bracket. But it ignores the surround part in the macro. I have reeat.vim already installed.

The macro is ysfb]%i|$.

It should surround text till the letter b in square brackets then go to matching bracket and in insert mode type |$ and then there is an Escape afterwards that I removed.

The macro fails to enter the brackets and only |$ is entered in the buffer.

This doesn't happen if I record a separate macro for ysfb] and use it in a second macro with the rest of the actions.

~~Works for me: foobarfoo -> [foob|$]arfoo.~~ ~~Wild guess: some other plugin interferes?~~ Edit: Ah, sorry, I have the same.
