Jenkins Builds taking time to trigger after creating a pull request

Hello ,

I am using pull request notifier plugin version 2.66. But whenever I create a pull request it takes > 5 minutes to trigger jenkins build.

I checked localhost access logs of jenkins and found that the addon is using lots of POST and GET methods before actually coming to invoke URL.

Could anyone please help me with this issue.
