Timer state doesn't change when it is started [Salesforce]

Salesforce lightning: ..lightning.force.com

🐛 Describe the bug

When starting the timer in track extension on Salesforce Lightening page, the timer starts, but button remains blue and with text "Start timer", as if it hasn't really been started:

Expected behaviour

Button turns green, with text 'Stop timer':

Steps to reproduce

  • Click 'Start timer'
  • Timer starts, popup opens, add details, close popup
  • --> button stays blue with text 'Start timer'

This also happens with Firefox extension 3.0.29 for JIRA and Gitlab integrations.

Workaround 1: click on extension button. Once menu is shown, the state (both button and page) is updated. Workaround 2: click "Settings/General/Reset all settings to default" and reconfigure all your preferences including integrations. (breaks again with browser restart) Workaround 3: Enable "Settings/General/Open edit popup after starting an integration timer"
