Autotracker should start AND stop automatically.

Autotracker starts a new entry as expected, but doesn't stop automatically. Is that by design? I would expect: I set up an autotracker entry for "study" when a particular window is focused. When that window is open/focused, it should record study time, when I close that window (when the focused window does not match the tracker), it should not record study time.

⭐️ Why do you want this?

I'm looking for a RescueTime alternative, I don't want to ever manually enter any task, I want something that will just record what I've got open and log that so I can look back at it later.

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong, I can't work out why someone would want auto-start but not auto-stop.
