Figure out CMS for static content?

Something like CrafterCMS would be worth looking into: https://craftercms.org/

Contentful free tier might also be sufficient.

Mike also recommended possibly just using markdown or a big JSON object.

I would pick a CMS that is closest to the existing stack and which is open source. Examples are Strapi, Ghost or KeyStone. I think all of those feature Node and GraphQl and some Mongo support.

Open Questions:

  • How much content and what nature will there be?
    • probably will be evergreen (not updating blog weekly)
  • Who owns the content long term?

Notes:

  • If we hard code then every text change creates new version of the stack

Next Steps:

  • Nail down which content is needed right now.
  • Plan for future content
  • Will inform MVP -> ideal approach
    • maybe MVP we don't need CMS for styling but just templated form for certain places of text
