Implement --ident command line option
The --ident option would allow a user to download an item by using an ISBN, DOI, or URL (e.g., paywalled URL).
It's very likely that we'll have to write a plugin alongside this option (e.g., for SciHub).
On a tangent: DOIs and other similar identifiers can be found when searching, and then Sci-Hub or similar is queried.
