Landed #57, which includes an example of ATA hooked into codemirror-ts in the README and in the demo.

Given that autodetect is going away in highlight.js itself, I think it does make sense to remove this API from the next version of lowlight rather than having an API...

Would the team be open to keeping this information in both places, then?

I'm happy to carve out more time to add more documentation to the other type definitions in this file, and also fine if the maintainers don't want to use them...

I very strongly agree with this issue - a lot of Effect's APIs have zero JSDoc annotations and it makes it way harder to learn, and brings back bad memories...
