Artist pictures get deleted and then download again over mobile data
Shuttle version:
v2.0.6
Device, OS:
Galaxy S7, Android 8.0.0
Description of bug:
Multiple times a week Shuttle will delete all the artist photos it has downloaded from last.fm. It will then try to download these again over my mobile data, even though I have turned on the "Download via WiFi only" option. This has resulted in Shuttle using .43gb of data just since the 1st of this month. The images download only when the tiles are visible, so it won't download any artist photo that I am not actively viewing. As far as I can tell, it will only do this in the 'Artists' tab, meaning when I click on a blank artist, it will not try to download anymore.
Steps to reproduce:
Not sure, I've not noticed any pattern of when it does this.

Shuttle doesn't delete your artwork, unless you press 'delete'. But, I guess it's possible that the artwork is becoming corrupt, or somehow disassociated with the app.
I'm not able to reproduce this issue myself. It's most commonly attributed to 'sd cleaner' type software, but you did say you're not using any. I'm still suspicious that some external source is causing this problem.
Downloading artwork via mobile data despite that option being 'off' is a bit of a worry though.
I also discovered it will keep downloading even if I deselect "download artwork automatically", when on both wifi and mobile data. Seems like none of the options relating to artwork actually do anything for me.
