Notification persists after timer has been stopped

Open c-rohrbach opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

Sometimes after I stop a timer, the notification will stay there. The buttons have no efffect since the timer isn't running, but the notification can't be swiped away. The only way I found to remove it, is to restart and stop the timer.

What's the device manufacturer and system version?

I know some Xiaomi devices have the problem, and I am still figuring out how to solve it.

It's a OnePlus phone running OxygenOS 11.1.2.2 (Android 11)

Ensure the system doesn't kill the app in the system settings when the app is running. The system restriction could be a reason.

Another possible reason is that the system limits the notification updates an app can make in a short period. I'll see what I can do.

I'll make sure the system doesn't try to close it for battery optimization and see if that helps. Thank you.
