popover's position is top on smaller screens and bottom on large screens

Describe the bug Popover is positioning differently on smaller screens (13" MBA) vs on a 27" monitor (not zoomed in or out)

Expected behaviour the popover should be positioned to the left or right if there is less screen space above and below
