Some GUI issues with system theme and more.

I'm on Windows 7 and I'm using my own theme as always, it has black background and gray text. (the opposite of default white background and black text). Here is what I see at start: image.

IDK what those wobbly lines on buttons are but, I'm sure you didn't pick black text color (left it as system text color), while you picked some own background colors. And you should either use both system or pick both your colors. To make this not happen.

Also want to mention that on my resolution (1920x1200), the text is really tiny. I'd recommend either setting constant bigger size, or making it variable, bigger with window size.

Nice catch. I agree it should either both foreground and background system color or custom color, but never mixed. I'm inclined to go for custom colors since the simulation controls also use custom grey color.

I also don't know what those wobbly lines are about. :D

I am not sure about text size. IMO it should just take system default, when the text is too small then, it's the user's fault, not ours. :D

The UI is getting a overhaul soon - I'll take this under consideration as part of the overhaul. I do like most parts of the custom theme I built, the wobbly lines are not part of what I like :wink:

The new UI is getting closer to reality (the brown thing to the left is the old UI, it will go away soon). Using a dark theme, it looks almost acceptable :smile: As you can see, I've now hardcoded most colors.

However, improvement is clearly possible, so I'll keep this issue open.
