This is no longer maintained, so we shouldn't advertise people using this. https://github.com/proxy-wasm/proxy-wasm-rust-sdk is an alternative

  • [ ] yank or at least deprecate from crates.io
  • [ ] Add any deprecation notice to the Cargo.toml
  • [ ] Add a notice to the README saying this is no longer maintained (to help people who don't notice the archive status)
  • [ ] Archive this repository

it seems docs.rs is generated from crates.io, so not sure if that will require a separate cleanup or not

It seems there's no way to deprecate in crates.io. I see people yanking instead. I raised https://github.com/tetratelabs/envoy-wasm-rust-sdk/pull/71 to deprecate in the metadata here which may be fine. Next steps including archiving this repo and any yanking should follow that.
