`#` is weird in IBM Plex mono

This does not look like a #:

This does not appear to be specific to bold+italic; # in IBM Plex Mono is just uncharacteristically fanciful. You should probably file an issue on https://github.com/IBM/plex if you want this changed.

Good to know it's not specific to that variant, but I still want it changed, and I doubt going through IBM is going to be as efficient as simply patching the glyph, so I'm reopening.

What glyph would you want patched into there? As I said, this affects the whole IBM Plex Mono typeface.

I want to take the existing one and add some extra black areas so it looks like a #.
