Can we consider reverting the data license to include commercial use? Lots of models are being released using the alpaca dataset (e.g. https://www.databricks.com/blog/2023/03/24/hello-dolly-democratizing-magic-chatgpt-open-models.html).

As far as I know there was a ruling in the US that AI generated content cannot be licensed. In this context, it is questionable from my point of view whether this license is valid at all.

What do you think @lxuechen @rtaori @YannDubs @Tiiiger ?
