Hi micw, We are not able to reproduce this issue, what version of Windows and Chrome are you using?
Cheers
Windows 10, Chrome 97.0.4692.99 (also previous versions).
100% reproducible to me:
- create an issue on tree.taiga.io
- Start to write a comment
- Make the window smaller
Above ~870px with of the text field, the save button is always at the same position in relation to the text field. Below that resolution, text field width and button starts to "jump" (button sticks until it's completely covered by the sidebar, then jumps back to visibility).
Happens only on comment save button, not on edit button.
I see, The comments UI works fine in most breakpoints, we'd tried to cover most of them in screens more than 768px (tablet and bigger) but taiga6 itselfs is not meant to be used in smaller devices (is not fully responsive). This it's part of our long-term roadmap, so currently there could be some issues like this in some smaller sizes that you can handle playing a little with window size. Thanks!
Actually I have an ultrawide screen. But I have split it into 2 screens (one with 1920x1440, the other with 1520x1440). The issue occurs with 1520px screen width which results in a comment box width of 867 px. I'd say, 1520px is not really a small screen ...
We also run into this issue, daily. Currently Taiga Front/Back 6.4.0 (will upgrade to 6.5.0 now). Firefox 96.0 64 bit Fedora Linux and Windows 10, same for recent Chromium;
It seems
- to happen if there are tasks in the list above the comment section of the User Story (or US above the comments in Epic)
- to work without problems when the comment column is wider than ~1800px
