Are you saying the issue is fixed in the dev snapshot version?

I'm not getting a crash with both nightly build (2017.08.16.nightly (git 7274bbd)) and 2015.03 release version on Debian. Maybe report that issue in the Arch bugtracker.

That looks like a crash in the intel graphics driver. Maybe have a look if there's a new version available. Otherwise, please add the information asked for in the [FAQ](https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/OpenSCAD_User_Manual/FAQ#How_do_I_report_bugs?)
