Good question. The next release should certainly be 4.0, as there will be breaking changes, and I think that we shall be ready to make bugfix releases to the 3.x version if needed. We should certainly include .net 6 (though not in this PR), and may think about removing support for EOL versions like .Net 2.1. I'll probably write an issue for that...
