BrightnessMenulet is an Mac OS X app that allows you to control display brightness via DDC/CI protocol
Worked for Dell SE2717H, but the brightness value don't match exactly with the monitor
- open prefs - set shortcut for darker - press it repeatedly - observe
I used to use this app with my mid 2012 MacBook Pro but since I bought a 2016 MacBook Pro with TouchBar I cannot get it to work.
Added Dell U2718Q and LG IPS236 models.
I just wanted to report that Brightness Menulet is actually somewhat working with my P2715Q monitors. Contrast adjustment works perfectly, but any attempt to adjust the brightness with the slider...
