Exactly! That’s why I linked the blog post above. It’s a minimum hassle approach unless you feel strongly about the cli.

There should be much better support for this now. There are more arm builds available on gh releases and apt/yum. Docker has an arm64 variant as well.

Hmm thanks so much for leaving this comment. I've made a mistake. I thought this PR was adding a non-existent variable when in fact it was removing it.

Im closing this as we now have docker images that this PR tried to achieve.

Update: https://github.com/cloudflare/cloudflared/commit/5dbf76a7aa58675a990194b86161c5ae15f84e24 has the fix if you are curious. This will be out in the next cloudflared release. Note that you once you have 2023.4.1 and above, this should work.

The latest cloudflared should fix this problem. You'd obviously only be able test it in the release after once you have this. Let's keep this issue open to track that...
