Create Branch From Tag option in Command Palette

Problem description

There is no way to create a branch from a tag in the Command Palette.

Preferred solution

It would be nice if the Command Palette had an option for Create Branch From Tag... and Create Branch From Remote Tag...

I don't think your current problem description is accurate.

1. Click a tag name in Location Bar
2. Right click commit and select "Create Branch at Commit"

My presumption is that perhaps you have a very large number of tags? Or you often are creating branches at tags that are at the bottom of the list?

More or less the questions in the template try to help us to understand your situation and workflow so that we can try to brainstorm about how to address various issues, hopefully in a way that is harmonious.

@wbond, nice! Didn’t catch the flow you mentioned with clicking the tag then clicking the commit.

I updated the ticket to reflect a convenience request as I prefer to keep the Location Bar hidden and use Command Palette.
