Git creds become invisible when writing a commit message

Problem description

Open any repo. Stage some changes. Observe your credentials in the "Summary" tab. Start typing a commit message, and your credentials disappear. Instead, text with the cursor coordinates like Line 1, Column 8 appears.

Preferred solution

Keep creds visible alongside the cursor coordinates text.
