Enhancement request: Make conflict diff curves more Bezier

Problem description

They look bad at the start and end of lines' bendings.

Preferred solution

I'd love to see those curves more smooth from edge to edge. I see no reason why there should be chunks of straight lines around curves.

They also look not fully anti-aliased (in the curved regions), so if the amount of anti-aliasing can be an option or if setting the width was an option (would reduce apparent blocky-ness), it would be great.
