There is a lot of issues and PR remain without response or comment. Is the owner still alive? It might be a good idea to suggest someone else to validate the PR. Or continue the project on another repo with several owners

Still alive. Just not enough time. Plus half the pull request remove old builds, change things like dependency-versions (without regard to licensing), or have binary commit-merges that i can't compare on the web.

Hi @ststeiger - I hope you saw the post from the authors of ImageSharp https://github.com/ststeiger/PdfSharpCore/issues/399#issuecomment-1903171059 - they said there are no issues with upgrading the image sharp package.

The fork I have at: https://github.com/TonyValenti/PdfSharpCore

Enables modern image sharp on modern .NET versions and leaves the legacy version in place for old .NET versions.
