This project is largely unmaintained. If anyone would like to support a fork I would be happy to link to it from the README on this repo or otherwise handoff maintenance.

Maybe a link to https://github.com/dgraham/identicon? Which also appears to be an "official" port, but has far less stars (SEO doesn't treat it as nicely it seems).

(It also produces the exact colour. 🤭)
