10.13.1 - Unforced mode switches

While on integrated it switches back to descret and then back to integrated and so on..

In case it helps someone else, when I upgraded to 10.13.6 I started having this problem when opening Chrome or any Electron apps. Turns out System Preferences > Energy Saver > Automatic Graphics Switching had been turned back on. I unchecked this and all is good again. I don't think it was necessary, but for Chrome I also disabled hardware acceleration.
