Not showing the first slide

Hi! Excellent plugin! Thank you!

I have a problem with the first slide on my slider. It's starts at the second one and not at the first one. I tried with the startingSlide: 0, but nothing changes, so I wrote startingSlide: -1, and it worked but at the same time the option of hideControlOnEnd has stoped working and it shows the 'prev' button when there is nothing previously. I'm working on Wordpress with posts that are inside a list... < ul > < li > < /li > < /ul >, each one is a < li >.

I hope you can help me.

try to force on the first li, style="display:list-item"
