New Updates Not Working

Updated to 3.001 and 1.91(aka 6.61.0) both the newest releases on github pages and cannot get it to function properly so I reverted back to 1.9 and 2.9 from months ago. I tried all sorts of different combos of builds and settings as well and did notice difference when ie mac option was selected etc. However, what ended up always happening was it worked but onc I changed app the previews no longer showed up even with restarting dock or alttab.

Using Sonoma Beta, not the latest, will be updating tonite to latest beta.

Love the app and invaluable to me so thats why forced to revert. Any ideas you have or as anyone had trouble with updates? FYI check updates>install from menu bar doesnt work either. Excited for updates so always excited to try new updates but cant get these particalar updates working.

Glad to hear you got it working!

I'm not entirely sure why this happens every so often, but since this update is a rebuild or new .xcodeproj file, that could have something to do with it. I'm gonna leave this open for a while longer in case anybody else's experiencing this.

FYI check updates>install from menu bar doesnt work either The v3.001 fixed the updater crashing the app when putting the mouse over the changelog webview. You should be able to go from v3 to v3.001 (but ONLY if you use the keyboard only though (by clicking the menu icon, and solely using arrow keys/tab/space))... This is no longer necessary in v3.001, and, if a new version is released, updates should work as you'd expect.

just popping in to report everything is running great. now- Sonoma Beta 15.1 with. AltTab 1.93.0 and DockAltTab 3.00.1 aka all. the latest builds. Hope to see some more development bc I think this is an awesome tool/app and yah it sucks AltTab dev is unwilling to add a few lines of benign code to simply enable applescipting that would open the door for so many others to get window previews with way less friction-granted not that difficult to setup but sill requires enough to scare many unnecessarily away..

May a fork is needed...esp bc dev. has said no longer wants to control repo and has been looking for exit....I just want to help in anyway I can bc I think this is a killer app/utility that honestly should come standard on MacOS.. Best of luck. and. hope for plenty more commits to drop in the future. Thannks
