My Styles - does not store new style provided by 'Create New Style from Text'

Open pet-ro opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Problem to Solve

The default styles provide a style code with acts on paragraph, I like to creat on that acts on a word only.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Type the word 'codephrase' use the default style code action on paragraphs, to provide an input for 'Create New Style from Text'

  2. Select the word 'codephrase' and click on 'My Styles > Create New Style from Text'

  3. Opens up a popup with the OneMore icon and the title 'New Style' (a) choose a style name 'code-inline' (b) choose a style type 'character - words in paragraph' (c) choose a font 'Lucida Console' Size '9' (d)Click 'Ok'

  4. Type a new phrase on a new line and select it, for example 'class'

  5. click on 'My Styles'

  6. Skim offered styles --- no style name 'code-inline'

Expected Behavior

Step 6 'Skim offered styles' --- should offer a style named 'code-inline'

Try: Restart of OneNote, but still: 6. Skim offered styles --- no style name 'code-inline'

Question: In what location does OneMore save a new Style. Maybe my business laptop is restricted in saving. (But shouldn't this be mentioned by OneMore?)

Anyway I think your project is well accepted by me. Thank you, for your work and your inspiration.

I've been unable to reproduce the issue.

The styles are stored in C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\OneMore
