Left<->Right scroll should scroll pattern view

You mean that caret position should always be in focus? Yes, you're probably right... Although you can also scroll horizontally with the bottom scroll bar, of course. I had horizontal scrolling mapped to horizontal swiping at one point, but that got me a little seasick when both axis were moving at the same time and vertical scrolling should always be active.

In Mac and Linux desktops you can Shift+scroll left and right. Just saying.
